Superman: The Escape from Krypton in California



    While it may look a bit boring to the loops, twists, and turns that the others offer, you should hold your judgment until you experience riding the Escape. The Escape can reach a speed of 100 miles per hour and climbs to a height of 41 stories in literally seconds.

Goliath in California

   


    The Goliath has a maximum speed of 85 miles per hour, one of the highest drops a coaster could ever have, and a smoke-filled tunnel. On top of all that, this roller coaster stands at a height of more than 20 stories which makes it’s the seventh tallest in the world.

Millennium Force in Ohio




    Launched in the year 2000, the Millennium Force can reach a velocity of about 93 miles per hour. There is an 300-foot drops, and dark tunnels throughout the 2.33-minute ride.

Steel Dragon 2000 in Japan



The Steel Dragons's speed i’ts about 95 miles per hour. It is one of the tallest roller coasters that uses the traditional chain lifts. Not only did surpass the Millenium Force but it also became known as the longest track lenght. 

Tower of Terror in Queensland, Australia





    The speed of this coaster reachs 100 miles per hour. This tower can do a perfect job of scaring you. Australia’s Tower Terror involves a climb to a height of just under 40 floors. Once you reach the peak a free fall starts follow by a 90 degree turn towards the opposite direction.

Kingda Ka in New Jersey, USA



    With a 128 miles per hour speed or 206 km per hour, none can compare to Kingda Ka. With a 418 foot descente It’s the fastes roller coaster in the world. The roller coaster accelerates and reaches this top speed in a matter of 3.5 seconds.
